Time will tell whether the new owners of this former Methodist Church (and more recently a bar) have successfully banished some potentially troubling tenants.
Past employees and customers spoke of an “ominous” presence in the building. Footsteps and dragging sounds would be heard echoing around the empty venue, doors would slam shut and inexplicable cracks would appear in mirrors.
The building had been out of use for more than a decade before it went up for sale and the spirits that roamed this once popular spot may have become even more territorial since the public were shut out.
