This is the area surrounding the legendary Leap Castle. The castle itself has a particularly grisly history, so it is not surprising that land surrounding it has witnessed turbulence and bloodshed. Going deeper, this land was also known for ancient druidic activity and rituals would have taken place here in pre-Christian times. Little wonder perhaps that spectral figures dressed in ancient garments have been sighted here and there are also stories of unexplained sounds and mysterious lights.
