With its thatched roof and regular trad music sessions, The Crosskeys Inn would probably be a “must see” for those seeking an authentic Irish pub experience. But this mid-seventeenth century pub is also said to be haunted.
A tall man wearing a hat has been spotted walking passed the windows in the early hours, while patrons have reported feeling a presence around the pub. A fortune teller once described how she encountered a friendly female spirit in the bathroom, but she “wasn’t so sure” about the man in a hat, sitting in a chair in the corner of the empty lounge.
