At the turn of the 20th century, witnesses reported seeing the ghost of a young woman, apparently walking on the water near a boathouse on Foundry Street. Local residents would also report a mysterious and rapturous knocking on their windows and doors during the night, some even reported poltergeist activity inside their homes. The activity was attributed to a young woman who had drowned in the river. Her body was later recovered from the water near the boathouse.
As far as I am aware, the building no-longer exists and the haunting has since ceased. If you have information to the contrary, do share it!
