Have you visited St. Stephen’s Green, and did you have an experience you could not explain? Click “Add Your Experience” and share your story.
Lord Ardilaun opened this famous park in 1880. While several of the buildings that surround it are said to be haunted, it is claimed that St. Stephen’s Green itself is also active.
The notorious gambler Thomas “Buck” Whaley (1766–1800) once lived on St Stephen’s Green and was famed for his nightly strolls to the clubs of Cuffe Street. Long after his death, locals claimed his restless ghost still paced the same route.
The ghost of a child, a phantom woman and a “running girl” are also linked to this area. While the source claims that there have been multiple witnesses over the years, I cannot find any specific accounts. If you have experienced something unusual (paranormal!) here, please do Add Your Experience.
If any users have shared their own paranormal experiences of St. Stephen’s Green, these will be shared here. To add your own, click “Add Your Experience” below.
