Witnesses describe the ghost as a tall, slender woman with long, flowing hair, dressed in a dark overcoat and seen moving with the aid of crutches through the hall or its adjoining corridors.

One of the most notable encounters occurred in 1969, when several individuals attending an evening event reported seeing the figure glide across the hall before vanishing without a sound. Subsequent searches found no trace of any intruder, and the description did not match any known parishioner or local resident at the time.
