Old Palmerstown Church was first mentioned in historical records in 1220, when it was noted as belonging to the Prior of St. John the Baptist without Newgate. The site also includes a bell tower and a graveyard.
According to local legends, the church is haunted by the spirit of a man who was fatally stabbed there long ago.
