Overlooking the coast of Youghal, this spot is named after Moll, a woman who fell deeply in love with a sailor. Heartbroken when he never returned from sea, Moll would stand at the corner each day, gazing out over the water. She continued this ritual until her untimely death, reportedly from pneumonia or tuberculosis.

Legend has it that Moll’s spirit still lingers at the site, particularly on nights with a full moon. Witnesses describe her as wearing a long, dark dress and a bright shawl, standing silently as she gazes out to sea before vanishing without a trace.
