Kildinan Castle, once a grand estate, was owned by a man known for his esteemed reputation and fierce protectiveness of it. One day, a peddler arrived at the castle selling his wares. When the peddler was discovered to have cheated him, the enraged owner ordered the castle guard to execute the man. The peddler’s head was gruesomely displayed on a spike at the entrance to the grounds as a warning to others.

It is said that the peddler’s headless spirit remains bound to the castle, lingering within its walls as a restless and vengeful presence.
