This historic property was constructed in the early 1920s and originally served as a branch of the Royal Bank of Ireland. In more recent times, the property has been used as private office space, but it is currently vacant as at July 2024.
I am informed that in the 1700s, there was a partial collapse at a building that occupied this site while an illegal mass was underway inside. In addition, a policeman was shot dead here in 1970 – that is well documented. My source suggests that there are two ghosts that haunt this property.
