In 1992, residents of Fabis Flats on High Road in Letterkenny began reporting strange occurrences, including unsettling noises, cold spots, and disembodied voices during the night. One woman even described waking up from a recurring dream of a woman and a crying child. In response, the building was blessed by a local priest. Further investigation into the area’s history revealed that Fabis Flats was built on the site of the old Letterkenny sick-house, a place believed to be the scene of many deaths. Additionally, an old burial ground nearby is thought to contribute to the haunting presence in the area.
