Staff working at Delahunt have spoken of feeling a sense that they are not alone, even when they are. The premises once served as a grocery, and the family that ran it lived in accommodation above their store. A bar tender recalled hearing the sound of a baby crying emanating from the deserted apartment, but of course, when she checked, she found no trace of another living being. Workers also reported seeing the spectre of a man in the laneway to the rear of the property during renovations.
