Motorists who regularly drive along the Crumlin Road in Belfast, will be well aware of the sharp bend on this route. The site has been the scene of a several accidents over the years, and in 1970s, stories began to circulate about a mysterious figure who would appear at the bend, only to vanish when the approaching car gets near him.
