I was at this jail a few years ago with a family member when I was about 12 or so, we were walking on the floor where the abandoned or off limits hallways were. I remember vividly looking down at one specifically and at the end of the tunnel, I saw a woman, wearing a white gown or a dress peaking out and then went behind the wall after that. I was really young so I thought maybe it was a projector or some light source creating that figure. I don’t remember much of the tour back then but I specifically remember seeing something at the end of the hallway. I’ve recently looked more into the hauntings at cork city gaol and read that more people have experienced the same thing that I have. The woman in white. This really freaked me out because that was the only part of the tour that I really remember and stuck with me.
