In 1997, a local man reported a strange sighting near Chalet Park at precisely 11 p.m. He described seeing three yellowish, human-shaped figures moving across a nearby field. Although he stopped short of calling them ghosts, he said the shapes were partially transparent and unlike anything he had ever witnessed before.
Interestingly, the same field has been linked to other unexplained activity over the years, with several people claiming to have seen unusual lights or shadowy figures in the area.
