Carriglass dates to the early 19th century. It is a Tudor revival house and was formerly the residence of the Lefroy Family. Sadly, as far as I am aware, the property is now in a very poor state of repair.

Locals have reportedly spoken of seeing ghostly figures in the windows and hearing a strange whispering in the gardens, but of course this could be little more than the power of suggestion given the state of the property.
