A property on Carrickblacker Road in Portadown was once reported to be haunted by a former resident.
He claimed that one particular room in the house remained unusually cold at all times, even when the central heating was functioning normally. This same room appeared to disturb his dogs, who refused to enter it.
Additional unexplained phenomena were reported throughout the house, including persistent noises during the night, a constant sensation of being watched, and doors that would open and close on their own without any apparent cause.
On the day he permanently vacated the property, the former resident stated he witnessed the apparition of a small child running past him—vanishing as it passed directly into a wall.
