In the 1980s, a woman and her young son were driving home late at night after visiting a relative. As they approached the outskirts of their village, they noticed two elderly women standing silently by the roadside near the entrance to the local graveyard. The pair were dressed in old-fashioned clothing and appeared oddly unaffected by the cold and darkness. Unsettled but assuming it was some innocent anomaly, the woman continued driving.
Just as their vehicle drew level with the cemetery gates, the car suddenly lost all power. The engine cut out without warning, the lights flickered off, and the vehicle rolled to a complete stop. No explanation could be found, and after several tense minutes, the car restarted on its own.
They continued their journey in silence – until they reached the far side of the graveyard, approximately half a mile down the road. There, standing motionless at the roadside once again, were the same two women. They stared directly into the car as it passed – expressionless, unblinking, and impossible to explain.
