The McMahon Hall, commonly known as Aula Maxima, is a nineteenth century theatre building located on Maynooth University’s southern campus.
A seminarian attached to St. Patrick’s College was working at the theatre in the 1940s, when he fell to his death from the projectionists box. His ghost is said to haunt the venue to this day, and some claim that he has a way of showing his approval (or disapproval) of productions taking place at the historic venue. A projectionists chair is said to turn away from the stage if he does not like what he is seeing!
If any users have shared their own paranormal experiences of Aula Maxima, these will be shared here. To add your own, click “Add Your Experience” below.
