Ashgrove House was said to be haunted by the spirit of Miss Sheridan, a former resident known for her deep pride in the flowers and trees that once lined the driveway. After her passing, the new owners removed the plants, an act that seemingly stirred her restless spirit. Miss Sheridan reportedly appeared to one of the owners, expressing her displeasure over the destruction before vanishing without a trace.
