Originally a row of 15th-century warehouses, this site was transformed into a castellated house in the late 18th century. By 1911, it had become the home of Ardglass Golf Club. During renovations in 1927, workers reportedly discovered the body of a young child hidden within a cavity wall. The child was subsequently laid to rest in a local burial.

Since then, strange occurrences have been reported by visitors and staff at the golf club. Many claim to hear unexplained footsteps upstairs and the distinct sound of snooker balls being moved—despite no one being near the table. These eerie happenings have only added to the building’s mystique.
