Now a residential apartment complex, this site in Finglas was once home to a milk processing factory. While the factory is long gone, some residents believe remnants of its past still linger in spectral form.

One former tenant reported a chilling yet strangely peaceful encounter with what appeared to be the ghost of a young boy. The apparition was described as being around 8 or 9 years old, dressed in vintage-style clothing—complete with a hat and braces, evoking the early 20th century.

On the night of the sighting, the resident had chosen to sleep in a different room, leaving the bedroom door open. Around 3 a.m., he awoke to find the boy standing silently near the front door, gazing into the room. Initially assuming it was a dream, he looked away and then back—only to see the boy still standing there. Feeling no fear, the resident simply said hello. The child smiled, then turned and ran down the hallway toward another room. When the resident got up to follow, the boy had vanished without a trace.

Curious, the resident later asked older locals in Finglas about the incident. According to their accounts, a young boy had tragically died on the site many years earlier—possibly during the factory’s operation—lending weight to the theory that his spirit still lingers.
