The Long Walk, Claddagh

The Long Walk, Claddagh
Galway, Ireland.

Some believe that the Claddagh area in Galway is definitely haunted, but in February 2012, a photographer captured something curious while taking snaps in the area.

Jonathan Curran claimed that he did not see anyone when he set up his camera, but in one shot (and one shot alone), the distinctive and solid figure of a woman dressed in a habit and veil is clearly visible.

The photo was shared widely and people began to offer theories on who or what the figure might be. Some claimed that it could be a trick of the light or someone dressed in mourning attire, while others suggested the figure could be the ghost of a nun from a nearby convent or even one from an older religious order.

What do YOU think?
