St. Finbarr's Hospital

St. Finbarr's Hospital
Ballinlough, Cork, Ireland.

Part of St. Finbarr’s Hospital dates to 1841 when it opened as the Cork Union Workhouse and Infirmary. It later became the Cork District Hospital and then the Cork County Home and Hospital.

It is said that a woman dressed in 1940’s style clothing has been spotted walking the upper floor corridors. Some say that the figure is that of a nun and that she is doing her rounds, checking that all is in order.
