Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park

Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park
Dunmurry, Antrim, Ireland.

The Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park encompasses more than 100 acres of gardens, meadows and woodlands and attracts thousands of visitors each year.

Over the years, visitors have reported seeing the ghost of a woman with an infant child in her arms, jumping into the path of vehicles at the entrance to the park on the Upper Malone Road. Shocked drivers have slammed on their brakes and exited their vehicles only to find no trace of the woman or her child.

There are conflicting reports as to who the lady is or why she roams this area, but some claim that she and her child drowned in the lake across the road, while others believe that they were hit by a horse and cart.
