Many thanks to L. Johnson for suggesting this location.

Built in 1736, Newbridge House in Donabate is considered Ireland’s best intact Georgian mansion. The site is haunted by the spirit of a former owner named Mr Cobbe, who is supposed to drive past the front door at midnight in a coach, drawn by headless horses – the only sound made being the opening and shutting of a gate.
