Many thanks to L. Johnson for suggesting this location.

Menlo Castle was once the residence of a couple named Sir Valentine, his wife Lady Blake and their young daughter Ellen. However, in the early hours of 26th July in 1910, a fire broke out in the castle. Although most escaped the fire, there two confirmed deaths. One was Delia Early. She was the cook and she lived up on the attic floor. She jumped to her death to escape the fire. The other confirmed death was that of Ellen.

It is the spirit of young Ellen, who allegedly haunts this site. She has been spotted by people who have come to this castle, which is now a deserted ruin.
