Limavady Workhouse

Limavady Workhouse
Londonderry, Derry, Ireland.

The Limavady Union Workhouse opened in 1842. In later years it served as the Limavady Cottage Hospital from 1932 until 1998. The property is now maintained as a museum.

A medium once claimed that she encountered a grey lady in a corridor before hosting a psychic development course, which was also attended by the ghost. The sound of a baby crying has also been heard in the vicinity of the old maternity ward. The ghost of a nurse with a red hood has been spotted too, while former nurses recounted hearing the sound of someone walking with seemed to be a wooden leg at 3am.
