Gandon Inn Hotel

Gandon Inn Hotel
Emo, Laois, Ireland.

The Gandon Inn Hotel dates to 1750 and was originally built as coach house for Emo Court. A once popular hotel, it would appear that the venue closed during the pandemic. Hopefully, it will reopen someday and I hope that locals will alert me when that happens.

A ghost, often referred to as “Queenie” was said to haunt the historic hotel. Staff often felt her presence when they were carrying out their duties around the building.
