Many thanks to L. Johnson for suggesting this location.

Killiney Castle was once the residence of a rich, but cruel landlord who possessed lots of smaller houses in the local area. Tenants of his who could not pay their rent were evicted and as a result, this landlord became hated. It is said during one dark night, as the landlord rode his horse back towards the castle, a local man whom he had evicted sprang from the bushes and frightened the horse. Bolting across Dalkey Hill, the horse jumped over the edge of the cliff with the landlord on its back. After that night, many people reported sightings of a ghostly horse and rider tearing across the hill.
